Amazon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the rebuild of the input layer that powers device planning, forecasting, and inventory systems. You will guide architectural decisions, drive automation, and raise the engineering bar across teams.

You will mentor engineers, participate in design reviews, and collaborate with product managers and scientists to translate requirements into scalable designs. This role demands hands-on leadership and a passion for reliable systems.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 7+ years of programming with at least one major language.
• 7+ years of leading design or architecture of systems.
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead on an engineering team.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate the most technically complex parts of the input layer.
• Set technical direction and architecture, including consolidation or retirement decisions.
• Lead design and code reviews and define operational standards for services.
• Partner with product managers, scientists, and engineers to turn requirements into designs.
• Mentor engineers through design guidance and pairing.
