Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to design, build, and support complex Salesforce solutions across the full development lifecycle. You will deliver scalable customizations and integrations, resolve incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability, performance, scalability, and maintainability.

You will also share expertise with less experienced engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce configuration and development.
• Advanced proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce transaction behavior, including performance optimization, bulkification, and developer-owned unit testing.
• Strong expertise in Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, including componentization and performance considerations.
• Solid understanding of the Salesforce security model, sharing, permission sets, CRUD/FLS, and secure coding practices.
• Strong background in REST APIs, JSON, and authentication, including contract design, error handling, resilience, and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess, design, build, unit-test, deploy, and support Salesforce changes.
• Develop advanced Apex, LWC, Flows, validations, metadata, and related automation.
• Design and implement complex integrations using Salesforce platform capabilities and integration patterns.
• Troubleshoot incidents across systems; perform root-cause analyses and implement durable actions.
• Collaborate with QA and Business teams by providing technical guidance and validating functionality.
• Prepare deployment plans, rollback procedures, and operational documentation.
