FedEx seeks a regional safety leader to drive safety programs across field operations. You will design and enforce safety policies, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, a professional safety certification preferred, and 6+ years in vehicle safety, dangerous goods, or related areas, with fluency in English. Federal and local safety laws will guide actions and training initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree/Equivalent. Professional safety recognized certification preferred.
• Six (6) years professional experience in Vehicle Safety, Dangerous Goods, Industrial and Occupational Safety, Aircraft Ramp Safety, and Fire Prevention.
• Knowledge of country's safety requirements and regulations.
• Good investigative, analytical, and communication skills. Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Leads the safety efforts for regions through the design, administration and enforcement of safety policies and programs for field operations.
• Determines safety requirements and formulates plans to improve safety and reduce costs, injuries, and property losses.
• Informs management of status of safety activities and corrective actions to resolve hazardous conditions.
• Establishes Safety Committees in locations with ten or more employees and provides safety training.
• Investigates serious accidents and conducts safety audits for ramps, offices, and station operations.
• Represents the safety office at formal conferences and reviews facility plans for conformance with safety standards.
