Job summary

FedEx Express Latin America and Caribbean Division in Querétaro, Mexico is seeking a Manager Ramp Operations II to lead loading and unloading, weight and balance, and safety across ramp activities. This full-time role requires strong leadership and operational discipline.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with airport authorities, manage delays and re-routes, and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations. Fluency in English and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or equivalent required.
• Five years of experience in Ramp operations.
• Fluent in English; valid driver’s license; strong leadership and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Select, train, motivate, and evaluate staff in ramp operations.
• Plan, organize, and schedule to minimize time and align with budgets.
• Ensure ramp operations are safe, efficient, and compliant.
• Ensure aircraft maintenance and security for arrivals/departures.
• Supervise marshaling for arriving/departing flights and ground equipment.
• Ensure weight and balance procedures are followed by ramp agents.
• Maintain professional relations with local airport officials and inform Sr. Management.
• Manage flight delays, overflows, cancellations, and re-routes; coordinate with Flight Ops.
• Supervise performance, discipline, and counseling per corporate policies.
• Main responsibilities as listed; perform other duties as required.
