Job summary

Slalom Build in Mexico is seeking a Sr. Accountant, Revenue to own end-to-end revenue cycle accounting with a strong ASC 606/ASC 326 focus.

You’ll drive accuracy in AR, contract assets/liabilities, and related write-offs, while delivering journal entries, reconciliations, and insightful reporting. The role emphasizes analytical reviews, CECL/estimates, and audit readiness, partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting experience (3–5+ years) in mid/large-size, global, or fast-growing companies.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge with ASC 606 expertise.
• Experience with contract review and accounting estimates.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas).
• Experience with Power BI/Power Query; SQL experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Own GL accounting for AR, contract assets/liabilities, write-offs, and adjustments.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Perform analytical reviews and variance analysis.
• Prepare CECL/ASC 326 analyses and related reserves.
• Manage rebate accruals, reconciliations, settlements, and audit readiness.
• Review contracts under ASC 606 five-step model and assess collectability.
• Perform O2C analytics across billing, AR, collections and adjustments.
• Support audits with documentation and analysis; strengthen controls.
