Solera Corporation is seeking a Senior Accountant to support monthly close, journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and US GAAP compliance. The role collaborates with FP&A and auditors, analyzes variances, and prepares ad-hoc analyses.

Fluent English and 4–6 years of GL accounting experience are required; strong Excel and attention to detail are essential. Based in Mexico City, this position sits within a global software and data services leader.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 4–6 years of professional general ledger accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Fluent in English.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and financial data analysis.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ethical standards and detail-oriented mindset.
• Master's degree and CPA are preferred.
• Experience in a large global organization and SaaS industry is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review, analyze and prepare monthly journal entries for month end close.
• Prepare detailed balance sheet account reconciliations with supporting verification.
• Analyze large datasets and prepare accruals for various P&L and balance sheet accounts.
• Coordinate across cross-functional departments to ensure timely recording of transactions.
• Assist in identifying potential process improvements and document SOPs.
• Apply critical thinking to evaluate variances and provide explanations.
• Work with internal/external auditors and prepare financial reporting schedules.
• Collaborate with FP&A and other partners to understand changes in financials.
• Mentor less experienced team members and support ad hoc analyses.
