BMC Software, Inc. is seeking a Lead Revenue Recognition Analyst to ensure US GAAP/ASC 606 compliance, review customer contracts, and advise on revenue implications. The role collaborates with Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Operations across the United States and Latin America.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in revenue accounting within enterprise IT or SaaS, strong ERP experience, and bilingual English/Spanish communication. Remote work is available for candidates located in Mexico.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive Revenue Accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of software licenses, maintenance, SaaS revenue models.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite).
• Experience with RevPro, Certinia or similar platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills; SQL/Tableau/BI tools helpful.
• Ability to research technical accounting topics and draft memos.
• Strong communication in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Review customer contracts and document revenue recognition conclusions per ASC 606.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, FP&A and Operations on deal terms and revenue implications.
• Review revenue reconciliations and variance reports for close processes.
• Support internal/external audits, including SOX walkthroughs and PBC schedules.
• Contribute to SSP improvements in revenue processes and controls.
• Research technical accounting topics and draft accounting memos.
• Assist with revenue recognition system upgrades and acquired-entity integrations.
• Partner with stakeholders on new deal models and revenue recognition matters.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization and automation.
