Placements24 is seeking a Geothermal Energy Process Optimization Engineer to join our remote operations team in Mexico. You will analyze plant performance data, identify optimization opportunities, and implement improvements to maximize efficiency and reliability in geothermal power plants.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on thermodynamics and at least 6 years of process engineering experience in power generation or geothermal energy.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with focus on thermodynamics and process design.
• At least 6 years of experience in process engineering in power generation or geothermal energy.
• Experience optimizing complex industrial processes.
• Proficiency with process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, UniSim).
• Strong analytical skills for large datasets and complex information.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and cycles.
• Familiarity with geothermal power plant components and operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and proactive approach.
• Strong written and spoken Spanish; English desirable.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
