Placements24 is seeking a Financial Risk Management Specialist for a fully remote role. You will identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks across the organization, developing robust risk strategies and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in financial risk management, strong expertise in quantitative modeling (VaR, credit scoring, scenario analysis), and proficiency with R, Python, and SQL.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• 6+ years of experience in financial risk management in banking or financial services.
• Proven experience in quantitative risk modeling (VaR, credit scoring, scenario analysis).
• Knowledge of financial markets, instruments and Basel Accords.
• Proficiency with risk software and data analysis tools (R, Python, SQL).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
