Placements24 is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Director of Strategy and Financial Planning to lead the company’s financial planning and strategic initiatives from a remote-first perspective.

This executive role shapes the long-term financial vision, drives growth, and profitability, and collaborates with senior leadership. The ideal candidate has an MBA or Master’s in Finance or Economics, 10+ years FP&A and corporate finance experience, and strong modeling and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 10+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, strategic planning, or investment banking experience.
• Proven experience in developing and executing corporate financial strategies.
• Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and capital markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the company’s long-term financial strategy and strategic planning process.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Evaluate potential investments, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and provide strategic insights to senior management.
• Ensure alignment between financial plans and business objectives.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support planning and decision-making.
• Communicate financial strategies and performance to the board and investors.
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes.
