Job summary

Amazon Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. is seeking a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineer to lead shift teams, optimize conveyors and robotic systems, and drive improvements across Brazil-network processes. The role requires hands-on maintenance expertise and mentoring of technicians.

The position involves working at an operational site with possible weekends/nights and opportunities to advance within the Reliability Maintenance Engineering team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, preventative maintenance procedures, blueprint and schematic reading, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, PLC programs, NEC, work orders.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate best practice on equipment safely and monitor teams to ensure correct processes.
• Keep track of equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks and schedule service when required.
• Supervise technicians on shift to support their development and act as first point of contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.
• Solve issues in equipment to reduce downtime for operations so packages can be processed quickly.
• Support in finding ways to continually improve systems and standardize processes across the Brazil network.
