Job summary

EPAM Systems in Mexico is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to act as a Release Train Engineer guiding large Agile teams across complex programs. You will facilitate PI planning, manage risks, and coach teams toward higher Scrum maturity while aligning with product owners and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years as an RTE with multiple dependencies, strong Jira knowledge, fluent English (C1+), and a proven track record of delivering value in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as RTE managing large teams with dependencies.
• Solid knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proven ownership and team-player mindset.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and stay focused.
• Proficient in Jira; basic AI awareness is a plus.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1+).

Responsibilities

• Serve as RTE for 17-20 teams (250-300 people) using Agile and Scrum.
• Facilitate PI Planning sessions and risk management.
• Remove blockers and coach teams to improve scrum maturity.
• Collect and report metrics; manage backlog health with POs.
• Engage stakeholders and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support cross-team collaboration and detect conflicts early.
• Provide coaching and training for teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain communication across organizational levels.
