Job summary

Banamex seeks an experienced Senior Relationship Associate to advise clients on capital markets and M&A strategies, coordinating with Institutional Banking. You will manage credit requests, negotiate terms, and navigate Citi’s global network to raise capital and support transactions.

The role requires deep credit expertise, knowledge of Citi products, and the ability to guide clients through complex documentation while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
• Knowledge of Citi product range and related applications.
• Familiarity with documentation requirements (LCs, ISDA/CSA, etc.).
• Strong analytical ability and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the key contact for routine credit requests and documentation.
• Assist with relationship reviews and KYC across products.
• Identify revenue opportunities and coordinate with product teams.
• Represent coverage team in client meetings and assist in closing transactions.
• Ensure compliance and risk management in line with Citi policies.
