Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager of Quality for Nogales operations. You will lead quality strategies to ensure top operational performance while meeting ISO standards, reporting to the Director of Quality Engineering.

You will guide continuous improvements, manage quality reviews, analyze returns, and drive CAPA with cross‑functional collaboration across Operations and Engineering. A strong background in process manufacturing and quality tools is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics or other technical or scientific degree.
10+ years of experience with a technical background (R&D, materials science, etc.).
10+ years of quality with knowledge of quality improvement tools and ISO standards (9001-2015).
Experience with problem-solving and statistical analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to develop and implement quality strategies for Nogales operations.
Lead monthly quality management reviews and drive continuous improvement on top issues.
Analyze customer returns and failure data; determine root cause and CAPA.
Own quality system audits and conduct Quality System Management Reviews.
Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to resolve field and in‑process failures.
