Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. in Nogales, Mexico, is seeking a Senior Manager of Quality to lead the quality organization and implement strategies that sustain high reliability across design, manufacturing and supplier networks.

You will chair monthly quality reviews, drive continuous improvement, analyze returns and failures, determine root causes and CAPA, and guide FMEA, DOE and quality system initiatives while ensuring ISO standards compliance and strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics or other technical/scientific field (MS preferred).
• 10+ years of technical experience (R&D, materials science, new product development).
• 10+ years in quality with experience in quality improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to drive proactive quality improvements across design, manufacturing, suppliers and customers.
• Lead monthly quality management reviews for Nogales operations and drive top issues.
• Analyze customer returns and failure data, determine root cause and CAPA.
• Own quality systems, internal audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to resolve field and in-process failures.
