Giga Energy in Chihuahua, Mexico, is seeking a Quality Manager to own the full quality value chain at supplier locations. You will develop and maintain a QMS, lead audits and certifications, and manage supplier quality, incoming and final inspections.

You’ll also drive continuous improvement and lead a growing quality team. The role requires 5+ years in quality engineering/management in electrical or industrial manufacturing, with strong knowledge of UL, ISO 9001, and PFMEA.

Formación

• Degreed engineer with 5+ years in quality engineering/management in electrical, power, or industrial manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of UL 891/67 or equivalent LV switchgear standards.
• Experience managing supplier quality in international CM environments with audits and FAI documentation.
• Proficient in IQC sampling methodology and incoming inspection practices.
• Hands-on experience building PFMEA, control plans and VWIs.
• Strong root cause analysis skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement a ISO 9001-aligned QMS including Quality Manual, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Lead audits and UL certification efforts; interface with UL Officers and third parties.
• Maintain supplier quality through AVL, SQAs, SCARs, and 8D closure.
• Manage incoming, in-process and final inspection plans; define QCPs and VWIs for safety-critical assembly operations.
• Lead final inspection and electrical test protocols; maintain serialized test records and CoC for every shipment.
• Drive continuous improvement with Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and KPI monitoring (PPM, FPY, CoQ).
