Corning Inc. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality systems across metal fabrication operations.

You will drive PFMEA, control plans, SPC, DOE, and 8D investigations, partnering with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to reduce defects and improve process capability. This role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing quality, experience with sheet metal processes, and proficiency in AIAG Core Tools and data visualization with Power BI.

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
3+ years in Quality Engineering within manufacturing.
2+ years supporting metal fabrication or sheet metal processes.
Strong knowledge of AIAG Core Tools and quality methodologies.
Experience leading RCAs, CAPAs, and cross-functional projects.
Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI).
Proficient English communication; automotive industry exposure is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Lead development and improvement of PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
Ensure controls mitigate process risks and improve process capability.
Lead complex root cause investigations using 8D, DMAIC, 5 Why, and Ishikawa.
Coordinate containment, corrective and preventive actions for issues.
Support customer audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Monitor defects, scrap and rework; drive reduction across metal fabrication.
Coach teams on Core Tools and lead internal/external audits.
