Corning Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve existing processes, participate in new product introductions, and lead improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize cost, quality and capability while applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

The role requires a 2-4 year background in manufacturing engineering, familiarity with MES/ERP systems, and strong problem-solving and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or technical degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronic or Industrial Engineering.
• 2-4 years in manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with MES/ERP systems.
• Fluent English skills and problem-solving mindset.
• Six Sigma knowledge and Lean principles required.
• Good project management and communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% (desired).

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize and execute work-streams to drive process improvements.
• Evaluate process cost, quality, and capability; implement continuous improvements.
• Lead manufacturing improvement initiatives including variability and defect reduction.
• Develop and update manufacturing process documentation and MPI files.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, development and upstream process experts.
• Manage internal resources to complete project deliverables within budget.
