AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across the software development lifecycle.

You will design, implement, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and leverage AI-powered tools for test generation and coverage optimization. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Architects to embed quality from the start, champion a right-sized test pyramid, and continuously improve

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, or automation roles.
• Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured, Postman).
• Understanding of REST APIs and service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous-testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Architects to understand product functionality and acceptance criteria, ensuring quality is built into SDLC.
• Define and execute a product quality strategy aligned with business priorities and release objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across unit, API, integration, and UI layers.
• Champion a right-sized test pyramid and balance unit, service, integration, and UI tests.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand code changes and determine where automated tests provide greatest value.
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks that integrate into CI/CD pipelines for rapid feedback.
• Promote shift-left quality practices through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Leverage AI-powered tools for test generation, automation development, defect analysis, and coverage optimization while validating outputs.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort via intelligent automation and process optimization.
• Partner with engineering teams to investigate defects and implement preventative quality improvements.
