Job summary
ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (TypeScript / Playwright) for a nearshore, fully remote long-term engagement in Mexico. You will own QA strategy, build scalable automation frameworks, and lead API testing across enterprise software platforms.
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in QA, strong TS/JS, and hands-on Playwright experience, plus AI-tool savvy to enhance testing workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of QA experience with 3+ years in test automation.
- Proven experience building automated testing solutions for enterprise software.
- Strong TS/JS hands-on with Playwright.
- Experience API testing and SQL data validation.
- Ability to explain use of AI tools in development and testing workflows.
- Excellent written and spoken English; remote collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Own QA strategy, test planning, design, and release validation.
- Develop scalable end-to-end test frameworks with Playwright and TS.
- Implement POM, fixtures, reusable test components.
- Develop component/integration tests with Vitest/Jest.
- Perform API testing, data validation, and multi-tenant testing.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
- Investigate flaky tests and improve framework reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers on quality risks.
