Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend Python development experience.
• Deep understanding of Python core concepts (OOP, async/concurrency, data structures).
• Proven track record building REST APIs and distributed microservices.
• Relational DB experience (PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with testing (unit/integration/E2E) using Pytest.
• Advanced Git and collaborative workflows (PRs, branching, code reviews).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs in Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask).
• Write clean, tested code and conduct peer reviews.
• Containerize applications and implement CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Design schemas and queries; work with ORM (SQLAlchemy) and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Integrate third-party APIs while ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams.
