Corning Incorporated is seeking a high-impact engineer to drive root-cause analysis and breakthrough process improvements in our Optical Communications division. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver robust, competitive processes and products while advancing fundamental knowledge across the company.

The role emphasizes DOE-based problem solving, mentorship of engineers, and ownership of major technology initiatives with substantial financial impact.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science (Engineering or applied science).
• DOE training for statistical analysis and process optimization.
• Lean fundamentals essential for process improvements.
• Lead teams with measurable financial impact.
• Proven ability to solve manufacturing issues long-term.
• Led new process/product/innovation projects.
• Share core technical knowledge across divisions.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing cost accounting/d cost drivers.
• Experience submitting significant IP for protection.
• Mentor(s) with cross-technical expertise.
