Job summary

ABB in San Luis Potosí, México, seeks an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily LV MNS production, ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and budget adherence while improving productivity.

You will lead 400+ hourly operators, develop lean programs, manage the annual budget, and drive cost reductions. You will partner with internal teams and subcontractors, support sales during customer visits, and champion HSE across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 8+ years in production management or similar leadership roles.
• Proven productivity improvements in high-volume manufacturing.
• Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma / operational excellence experience; Black Belt preferred.
• Experience managing large hourly workforces (400+ operators).
• Strong production KPIs and metrics; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production across LV MNS lines, ensuring on-time delivery, quality compliance, and budget adherence.
• Directly lead 400+ hourly operators; build high-performing, skilled, and engaged teams.
• Drive productivity improvements through lean manufacturing and operational excellence methodologies.
• Prepare and manage annual production budget; identify and act on cost reduction opportunities.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners including subcontractors and customers.
• Support Sales during customer visits to demonstrate manufacturing capabilities.
• Ensure full HSE compliance and promote a zero-incident culture across all shifts.
