RTX in Mexicali is seeking a Sr. Product Quality Engineer to drive reliability and excellence across products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement QA systems, lead proactive improvements, and influence design with Lean Six Sigma, RCCA, and UPPAP methodologies.

Fluency in English/Spanish required, with possible travel to the United States. You will develop testing plans, ensure documentation compliance, and lead quality initiatives across programs and products, shaping

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma and data analysis proficiency (Excel, pivot tables, formulas, dashboards).
• GD&T proficiency.
• Fluent or proficient English (verbal and written).
• Root Cause and Corrective Action tools (Ishikawa, 5 Whys, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation, control systems for materials and products.
• Devises testing plans and equipment to assure product reliability with design collaboration.
• Ensures project/process documentation meets requirements and contracts.
• Identifies and manages risk using UPPAP core elements (PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow).
• Develops proactive quality initiatives and drives implementation.
• Performs escape management, RCAs, and corrective actions for design issues.
• Manages work transfer and PPAP acceptance through resourcing gates.
• Designs and implements product engineering changes to address customer quality issues.
• Responsible for Program and Product Quality Engineering.
• Develops new inspection technologies or methodologies for conformance.
• Occasional travel to the United States may be required; visa may be needed.
