Job summary

Jabil is seeking a manufacturing-engineering oriented professional to provide leadership in technical support for the manufacturing organization. You will ensure adherence to assembly procedures, quality standards, and the timely introduction of new products and prototypes on the production floor.

You will liaison between engineering and manufacturing, interpret drawings, help define tools and processes, and assist in ECO/ECR and BOM management.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to managers, clients, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Proficient with Windows OS and related software.
• Advanced PC skills and knowledge of Jabil software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and read visual aids.
• Ability to follow simple instructions with minimal variables.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between engineering and manufacturing for transferring customer documents to manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical leadership to manufacturing personnel.
• Interpret assembly drawings and develop clear assembly work instructions with production teams.
• Assist in determining tools and processes required for assembly.
• Enter routing requirements and data into QM module and SAP status updates.
• Support ECO/ECR, BOM changes, and problem feedback workflows on the shop floor.
