Flex is seeking a Senior Process Engineer (Mechanical Assembly) to join our team in Guadalajara, North Campus. You will lead mechanical assembly process development and ECO-driven improvements for PCBA manufacturing, reporting to the Process Engineer Manager.

The role requires strong NPI and mass production knowledge, hands-on mechanical/electronics experience, and advanced English. You will interface with production and drive capital equipment implementation and process control.

Formación

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience
• Strong knowledge in NPI & Mass Production
• Experience in mechanical assembly / electronics processes
• Advanced English
• Technical knowledge: intelligent torque tools, PLCs, liquid cooling systems, pneumatics, poka‑yoke, and maintenance

• Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Senior Process Engineer (Mechanical Assembly) located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Process Engineer Manager, this role involves responsibilities for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support a PCBA manufacturing organization.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop mechanical assembly processes capable of ensuring stability, capacity, and continuous improvement
• Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
• Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies
• Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).

Experience we're looking to add to our team:
