MuchoRed in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to support preconstruction for ground-up multifamily and commercial projects in the United States. You will prepare conceptual budgets, takeoffs, and competitive estimates.

You will analyze drawings, solicit bids, perform cost analyses, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients. Travel to project sites and meetings as needed is expected.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating or preconstruction.
• Experience with ground-up commercial or multifamily projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, Sage Estimating, or similar software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Professional English communication (C1 or higher).
• Ability and willingness to travel to project sites, meetings, and preconstruction activities.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare conceptual budgets, detailed quantity takeoffs, and competitive cost estimates.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to define project scope.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Perform bid leveling, cost analysis, and value engineering.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients throughout preconstruction.
• Support project turnover from estimating to construction.
