Job summary

NETSCOUT is seeking a Sales Engineer in Mexico City to support the sales team with pre-sales technical expertise and compelling value-based presentations.

You will work with Account Managers to craft strategies, deliver PoCs, and run product demonstrations while building key relationships with customers and partners. This role requires significant travel and deep networking expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Cisco routing, switching, gateways and applications knowledge.
• TCP/IP, SNMP, NetFlow, VoIP experience.
• 10+ years IT experience or 7+ years as pre-sales/engineer.
• Strong networking and application background; Linux/Windows familiarity.
• Experience with RFI/RFP responses and security audits a plus.
• Formal sales training (Sandler, Siebel or Afterburner) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop business and technical strategies with Account Managers and Regional Director.
• Investigate client needs and devise strategies to win business.
• Create and deliver PoCs; manage Bakeoffs and live demos.
• Lead on-site and remote presentations; document customer challenges.
• Travel 40–50% within the territory; identify upsell opportunities.
