HSBC Holdings plc is seeking a Senior Portfolio Services Manager in Mexico to oversee portfolio management support activities within the Transformation/PMO/Management Services function, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

The role requires managing an order book, value tracking, stakeholder engagement, and benefits realisation while coordinating with Transformation Heads and the central PMO to embed standardized practices across teams.

Formación

• Intermediate English with strong written communication skills.
• Experience managing long-term technology investment project portfolios valued at USD 15 million+.
• Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills across direct and indirect teams.

The Senior Portafolio Services Manager is responsible for managing portfolio management support activities within the allocated portfolio as required by the Transformation/PMO/Management Services function

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for overseeing order book and value management activities
• Responsible for stakeholder management, portfolio prioritisation facilitation, benefits realisation, cost management and resource & capability management (i.e. support the matching of supply and demand through demand forecasting and management.
• Directly support their Transformation/Programme/Delivery Heads or Directors to manage their portfolio(s) and also the central PMO to implement the required ways of working in to their team.

Requirements

• Intermediate English, including written communication skills.
• Experience in managing long-term technology investment project portfolios valued at more than USD 15 million.
• Business knowledge of IWPB (International Wealth and Premier Banking) products and channels within HSBC.
• Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills across direct and indirect teams.
• Knowledge of financial management for programmes and portfolios, as well as the management of benefits associated with portfolio initiatives.
• self-management, strong analytical capabilities, and abstract thinking to prepare materials that facilitate senior management decision-making.
• Ability to provide a 360-degree view of the business.
• Focused on developing long-term strategy and vision.
• Understanding of both business and technology topics.
