Job summary

HARTING Technology Group seeks a seasoned leader to head regional PMO activities in a global supply and project-driven environment. You will prioritize ideas, manage portfolios, and report to regional stakeholders while guiding project managers and cross-functional teams.

You will drive strategic planning, change management, and resource allocation, mentoring regional leaders and coordinating with CoE PMO to ensure governance and performance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience within a PMO or managing cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in multinational and matrix organizations.
• Proven track record leading strategic operational and transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Record, evaluate and prioritize project ideas in coordination with Regional Head.
• Plan the regional portfolio in coordination with Regional Head.
• Monitor and report the status of the regional project portfolio to relevant Stakeholders.
• Resource Management across regional initiatives.
• Support Project Managers in planning, budgeting, scheduling, scope and resources.
• Ensure usage of GPMO-Operations Standard and support PMs.
• Lead Change Management initiatives in projects and coordinate with HARTING Change Managers.
• Organise and/or perform trainings regarding GPMO-Operations Standard.
• Ensure qualification of Regional Project Managers according to CoE PMO requirements.
• Serve as key advisor to senior management on portfolio prioritization and resource allocation.
• Lead, guide and mentor project managers to drive high performance.
• Develop regional strategy aligned with CoE PMO.
• Act as main contact for project stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, gather requirements and provide project updates.
• Utilize negotiation skills to secure resources and resolve conflicts.
• Apply intercultural competencies in regional collaboration.
• Coordinate with departments interfacing with projects to ensure alignment.
