Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Associate Pharmacist in Jalisco to lead daily pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor staff. The role focuses on safe medication management, inventory control, and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced distributive environment.

The successful candidate will have a pharmacy degree, a valid Jalisco license, 5+ years in retail or hospital settings (2+ in leadership), and strong knowledge of pharmacy software and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Valid and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in Jalisco, MX.
• Minimum 5 years in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role.
• Proficiency in pharmacy management software and electronic health record systems.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily pharmacy operations to ensure efficient workflow.
• Manage inventory including ordering, receiving, stocking, and waste disposal with accurate record-keeping.
• Dispense medications accurately and verify prescriptions and patient information.
• Provide consultation and education to patients regarding medication use and interactions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing pharmacy practice and drug distribution.
• Train and mentor junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, fostering continuous learning.
