Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to support end-to-end payroll for US multi-state and Canadian populations from San Luis Potosí. This hybrid role partners with Finance and HR to ensure accurate processing, compliance, and timely delivery of payroll, taxes, and related data.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of progressive payroll experience, SAP or ADP knowledge, and strong English skills to navigate complex commitments and stakeholder needs within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, administration or related.
• 4–6 years of progressive payroll experience for a US multi-state employer with ≥5,000 employees.
• Experience using SAP Payroll or ADP GlobalView (Processing Services model).
• English proficiency required, knowledge of tax rules across Federal, State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Support US multi-state and Canadian payroll operations, providing expertise in calculation, processing, validation, and issue resolution.
• Execute and validate payroll activities per schedules, controls, and checklists.
• Review pre-payroll and post-payroll results to identify discrepancies and minimize errors.
• Manage complex payroll scenarios including earnings, deductions, taxes, and allowances.
• Troubleshoot payroll and system-related data issues and respond to pay inquiries.
• Coach and mentor payroll team members to meet deadlines and standards.
