Cummins Inc. in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, seeks a Senior Payroll Analyst to support end-to-end payroll operations for U.S. multi-state and Canadian populations, ensuring accurate calculations and compliance.

The role reports to the North America Payroll Manager and works in a hybrid model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). You will partner with Finance and HR, handle complex payroll scenarios, support system changes and UAT, perform root-cause analysis, coach teammates, and ensure adherence to

Formación

• 4–6 years of progressive payroll experience for a US multi-state employer with 5,000+ employees.
• Experience with integrations and impact on General Ledger accounts.
• At least 1 year using SAP Payroll or ADP GlobalView.
• Document requirements for system configuration changes and write test scripts.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax rules and work rules; English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Support US multi-state and Canadian payroll operations, resolving calculation and processing issues.
• Execute payroll activities per established schedules, controls, and checklists.
• Review pre-payroll and post-payroll results to identify discrepancies.
• Manage complex payroll scenarios involving earnings, deductions, taxes, and allowances.
• Troubleshoot payroll and system-related data issues and resolve inquiries.
• Coach and mentor payroll team members to meet deadlines and standards.
• Ensure payroll controls and regulatory compliance are maintained.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement of payroll processes and documentation.
• Support tax filings, year-end activities, and payroll reporting.
