Job summary

Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Payments and FinOps in Mexico City. You will own the strategy and roadmap for how collectors pay, how sellers are paid, refunds, and accounting across our ecosystem.

Work with engineering, finance, operations, and risk to build scalable, compliant, and cost-efficient payment capabilities while balancing conversion, risk, and operational efficiency. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management experience.
• Hands-on experience owning payments, checkout, payouts, billing, or financial operations products.
• Working knowledge of how money moves: processors, gateways, settlements, refunds, payouts, and ledger systems.
• Advanced written specification skills for rules-heavy flows and edge cases.
• Experience partnering with engineering on platform and architecture tradeoffs.
• Experience working with Finance, Accounting, Operations, or Risk to translate needs into product requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with metrics, instrumentation, data pipelines, and reporting.
• Ability to operate in a matrixed, cross-functional environment across time zones.
• Professional fluency in English; interest in collectibles/sports is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for a shared payments and FinOps platform across storefronts and products.
• Define and prioritize payment methods and flows (cards, wallets, PayPal, FanCash, etc.).
• Partner with engineering on integration, authorization, tokenization, and PCI scope.
• Work with Trust & Safety to embed fraud screening and risk rules in checkout.
• Own payout experiences for sellers, including methods, scheduling, fees, and holds.
• Drive automation to shorten payout time and reduce manual work.
• Improve international payouts cost and reliability as we scale.
• Define refund and dispute workflows; ensure auditable, reconciled end-to-end processes.
• Define chargeback workflows and reporting on loss rates.
• Ensure payment-related flows are documented and gate-shipped to avoid surprises.
