Job summary

Unosquare, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a payments/API platform embedded with the client's agile teams. The role focuses on turning ideas into analyzed, sized, development-ready work plus strong documentation and prioritization.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as a BA in banking/payments, API-first product experience, and fluent business English. Nearshore remote work with US Eastern hours offers exposure to enterprise-grade platforms.

Qualifications

5+ years as a Business Analyst embedded in agile teams.
Banking or payments domain experience required.
Experience with API-first products and REST APIs.
Documented permission models with multiple admin and user levels.
Ability to reverse-engineer a live, poorly documented system.
Formal BA artifacts: BRDs, user stories with acceptance criteria.
Prioritization and stakeholder pushback using data and capacity.
Proven ability to improve estimation and agile metrics.
Fluent business English and client-facing communications.

Responsibilities

Triaging incoming requests and classifying as initiative, epic, story, task, spike or defect.
Elicit requirements and produce BRDs; break work into epics and stories with criteria.
Define ready and coordinate with PO, tech lead, and QA to prep stories.
Document client platform roles, entitlements, and API descriptions with use cases.
