Job summary

Cognizant in Mexico City is seeking a Senior OTA Software Test Engineer to drive end-to-end verification for the Software Updates initiative. You will design automated test strategies, develop scalable test frameworks, and coordinate with OTA test coordinators and global teams.

Responsibilities include building vTestStudio driven tests, scripting in Python and CAPL, and ensuring alignment with automotive quality standards.

Qualifications

Demonstrate hands-on expertise in vTestStudio for test design and integration.
Apply Python, Bash, and CAPL to build modular automated tests.
Experience with end-to-end automotive verification and validation.
Ability to document procedures and support audits.

Responsibilities

Design comprehensive automated test strategies for automotive systems using vTestStudio and custom frameworks.
Develop and maintain scalable test frameworks using Python, Bash, and CAPL scripting.
Create reusable automated test scripts and libraries to improve execution consistency and reduce manual effort.
Execute detailed auto verification and validation test plans on embedded and system-level components.
Analyze test results and document findings to support rapid resolution by teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to refine test requirements and ensure coverage.
