Cognizant in Mexico seeks a Test Analyst responsible for designing, developing, implementing and executing automated and manual test cases to ensure automotive software quality across DI Body Vehicle Access Restraints and Connectivity. Formación

• 3–7 years in test analysis and execution in automotive V&V.
• Advanced using vTestStudio for test design and automation.
• Strong scripting in Python, Bash and CAPL for test harnesses.
• Understanding of automotive domains, ECUs, buses, and safety features.
• Fluent English communication for international collaboration.
• Experience with test framework design and CI integration.

Responsabilidades

• Design comprehensive test strategies and test cases for automotive verification and validation projects using vTestStudio and scripting to ensure coverage.
• Develop reusable test frameworks that integrate Python, Bash and CAPL to streamline execution.
• Execute manual and automated tests in an office-based day shift and document outcomes clearly.
• Analyze results, identify root causes, propose corrective actions, and drive quality improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align test scope with milestones and customer expectations.
• Create and maintain test documentation including plans, procedures, and reports for audits.
• Optimize test scripts for performance and maintainability across product lines.
• Provide concise defect reports with steps, logs, and environment details.
• Support integration and system testing for automotive components and software.
• Apply V&V standards and safety practices aligned with company goals and societal impact.
• Coordinate with global stakeholders using strong English to clarify findings and resolutions.
• Prepare status reports and metrics highlighting progress, risks, and quality trends.
• Engage in continuous learning and tool evaluation to strengthen coverage.
