Zusammenfassung

HSBC Mexico is seeking an experienced Subdirector - Non Financial Risk to join the Americas Regional MSS Operations Non-Financial Risk team. The role focuses on building strong risk management processes, enhancing governance, and delivering a robust control framework across the region.

You will work closely with US/LatAm business sectors and MSS NFR to drive risk reduction strategies, improve processes, and ensure proactive mitigation of key risks within operating risk appetite.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Banking Operations, Markets or risk controls is required.
• Ability to articulate complex issues clearly to senior management.
• Proven capability to work across multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams.
• Experience collaborating with 2LoD/3LoD and control owners.

Aufgaben

• Implement strong risk management processes and frameworks within risk appetite across Operations.
• Govern governance, mobilisation and management of a robust control framework for the region.
• Collaborate with US/LatAm sectors and MSS NFR team to support MSS Operations risk reduction strategy.
• Lead improvements to the global process environment in a standard, sustainable, and optimized way.
• Interface with 2LoD and 3LoD teams to remediate high-risk findings across MSS Operations.
