Nu México seeks an Operational Risk Specialist in Mexico City to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate operational risks, developing methodologies and ensuring execution within the first line of defense.

You will lead the Op Risk Management System oversight, drive annual and continuous RCSA processes, perform 2LoD reviews, maintain risk matrices, and govern KRIs while collaborating with multiple departments and reporting to senior leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineer, Risk Management or related field.
• 3+ years in operational risk management, internal audit, compliance, or consulting.
• Knowledge of RCSA, Loss Database, Third-Party Risk Management and risk assessment of new products.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and ability to analyze complex data.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and improve Op Risk Management System aligned with local regulation and global standards.
• Coordinate annual and continuous RCSA processes with risk and control matrices.
• Conduct 2LoD reviews of 1LoD risk assessments and controls.
• Maintain risk matrices across macroprocesses with traceability in risk inventory.
• Assess complex operational risks and define mitigation strategies.
• Monitor loss events, incidents, and control gaps; perform root-cause analysis.
• Develop and manage KRI program with measurable indicators and thresholds.
• Evaluate risks for new products and initiatives before launch.
• Prepare risk reports and dashboards for senior leadership and governance forums.
• Provide guidance and training to business areas and escalate material residual risks.
