Bluelight Consulting Monterrey seeks a senior backend software engineer to drive development of low-latency, scalable API services. You will work with Node.js, TypeScript, and React when needed, collaborating with teams across the US and LATAM.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years of backend experience, strong SQL, AWS, and a focus on secure multi-tenant architectures. The role offers remote-friendly hours and growth/education opportunities.

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations.
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and failure-mode testing.
• Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills.
• Solid understanding of full stack development, with the ability to contribute to frontend work when needed.
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required
