Bluelight Consulting in Tijuana is seeking a senior backend developer to join our rapidly growing team. You will design, build, and improve scalable API services using Node.js and TypeScript, collaborate with frontend engineers, and contribute to resilient, secure multi-tenant systems in a fast-paced consulting environment.

You should have 5+ years of backend experience, strong AWS and SQL skills, and a commitment to quality, testing, and continuous learning.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience (backend-focused)
• Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., node-postgres, node-pg-migrate)
• Professional experience with React
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and failure-mode/fault-injection testing
• Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills
• Solid understanding of full stack development, with the ability to contribute to frontend work when needed
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems
• Ability to overlap US business hours
• Bachelor's degree required
