Bluelight Consulting is seeking a senior backend-focused software developer to join our rapidly growing team. You will contribute to designing scalable APIs, integrating AWS services, and working across a modern tech stack.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and fault-injection testing.
• Experience with AI coding assistants as part of daily development.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills.
• Solid understanding of full stack development, with ability to contribute to frontend work when needed.
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement backend services and APIs.
• Develop scalable RESTful services and data models.
• Collaborate across teams and contribute to frontend work when needed.
• Ensure security and multi-tenant isolation in multi-tenant environments.
• Participate in CI/CD, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Work with AWS services including serverless/containers.
• Analyze and optimize performance for low-latency needs.
