Capital One is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Backend in Mexico City to design, develop, and support cloud-based backend solutions. You will collaborate with Agile teams to deliver robust systems using Java, AWS, and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.

The role emphasizes mentoring teammates, staying current with technology trends, and delivering scalable software that powers financial experiences for millions of users.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering
• 4+ years of experience in Java programming
• 3+ years of experience with AWS
• Experience in Kubernetes (EKS / Onekube)
• Experience with containerization and CI/CD pipelines
• Advanced English fluency
• Bachelor's Degree

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
• Share enthusiasm for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, mentoring other engineers
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower users
• Utilize Java, open-source databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services in delivering scalable backend systems
