Valmet in Mexico seeks a Senior Accountant to own statutory accounting and financial reporting for Mexican entities, ensuring MX GAAP compliance and collaboration with global finance teams.

You will lead the statutory books, manage month-end close, and support VAT (IVA), ISR, CFDI, and SAT submissions while coordinating with tax, HR, and operations for accurate reporting. Excellent Excel and ERP skills, and 5+ years in multinational environments, are required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years accounting experience, ideally in a multinational environment.
• Strong MX GAAP knowledge and Mexican financial reporting.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead preparation and maintenance of statutory books in line with MX GAAP.
• Oversee month-end close including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with CFDI and SAT submissions.
• Collaborate with tax teams to support VAT (IVA), income tax (ISR), and audits.
• Partner with finance, HR, and operations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
