Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Senior MLOps Engineer to join an MVP engagement with a major AAA game publisher, building a test intelligence platform for two game franchises. The role focuses on production-ready ML components, reproducibility, and lineage from day one.

Responsibilities include signal catalogue operations, model/versioning initiatives, and calibration harness development to ensure scalable, auditable ML workflows across platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in MLOps or ML platform engineering.
• Expertise in ML model lifecycle management, including versioning, configuration management, and rollback.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for ML pipeline automation.

Responsibilities

• Own Signal Catalogue operations and provenance capture across all 8 signals.
• Coordinate with Senior AI Developer on model/dimension stamp conventions; manage reindexing pathways.
• Design, implement, and maintain back-test and calibration harness with as-of temporal filtering.
• Enforce holdout discipline and configuration sweeps; publish winning configurations as weight proposals.
• Lead systematic experimentation framework for scoring strategy configurations and trade-offs.
• Maintain model lineage across configuration versions for both franchises.
• Implement MLOps Monitor and Data-Health Monitor for drift and data health telemetry.
• Support exploration cadence with unbiased random-sample injection and provenance.
• Contribute to operator runbooks covering signal refresh, calibration campaigns, and embedding reindex procedures.
