nVent seeks a senior mechanical engineer to own end-to-end product development, including feasibility, prototyping, testing, certification, and commercialization. You will lead technical decisions across multiple programs and ensure design-for-manufacturability in collaboration with operations and suppliers.

You will drive design standards, validation approaches, and risk mitigation while engaging with customers to translate needs into robust product requirements and successful launches.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years in progressive mechanical product development.
• Strong English communication skills and travel willingness.

Responsabilidades

• Define and own end-to-end mechanical product development and validation.
• Serve as technical owner for key mechanical platforms across regions.
• Lead design-for-manufacturability standards and tooling strategy.
• Lead mechanical design standards, specs, and validation approaches.
• Translate targets into technical requirements and backlogs.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, sourcing, PM and sales for launches.
• Maintain readiness in gated NPI processes and on-time progression.
• Provide technical leadership in reviews, FMEAs, and risk mitigation.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and shape requirements.
