Empresa Confidencial in Mexicali seeks a seasoned Manufacturing Leader to oversee daily operations, meet production goals, and align with customer requirements. You will develop production plans, manage inventory with Lean, JIT and Kanban, and lead cross-functional teams while promoting safety and continuous improvement. Advanced English communication skills are required and travel may be needed. This is a high-impact role for driving operational excellence across the plant.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years leading manufacturing operations in a high-volume environment.
• Strong background in production planning and inventory management.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, JIT, and Kanban.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and audits.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Availability to travel as required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production goals and customer requirements.

• Monitor KPIs for productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce waste.

• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System requirements and audits.
• Manage resources, equipment utilization, and capacity planning.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals, customer requirements, and business objectives are achieved.
• Develop production plans and align material requirements with operational demand and supplier capabilities.
• Manage inventory levels through Lean Manufacturing principles, including JIT and Kanban methodologies.
• Monitor production performance through KPIs focused on productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence projects across the plant.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System requirements and support internal and external audits.
• Manage manufacturing resources, equipment utilization, and operational capacity planning.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges with urgency and effective decision-making.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and employee development.
• Champion best practices in manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience leading manufacturing operations in a high-volume production environment.
• Strong background in production planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, JIT, and Kanban methodologies.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and audit processes.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
• Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Availability to travel as required.
