Job summary

Jabil in Apodaca, Mexico, seeks a Maintenance Technician to provide equipment and process support across workcells. You will maintain and repair equipment used in manufacturing, ensure timely PM tasks, and contribute to line efficiency.

You will prioritize maintenance with production schedules, serve as the first escalation contact, and assist with training of technicians, while aiming for low downtime and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to groups of managers, clients, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to operate a PC with Windows-based OS and software.
• Advanced PC skills including Jabil software packages.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and complete maintenance records.
• Set work priorities based on production schedules and coordinate with supervisors.
• Serve as first escalation contact.
• Provide front line liaison between Machine Support and Manufacturing.
• Train machine support technicians.
• Address equipment problems and design long-term solutions.
• Support NPI activities for the area of responsibility.
• Ensure on-time PM task completion and maintain low downtime.
