Job summary

Jabil in Apodaca, Mexico seeks a Diagnostic professional to maintain and improve the Diagnostic department’s efficiency. You will diagnose and repair circuit boards to the component level, exhibit proficiency with test equipment, and work with schematics, BOMs, EC documents, and testing tools.

You will assist in data evaluation, follow production policies, interface with customers on advanced issues, and help recruit and train technicians to meet yield goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics.
• Ability to present information to managers, clients, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to operate a Windows-based PC and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including Jabil software packages.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and visual aids.
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to handle standard situations with minimal variables.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair at component level on electronic circuit boards with prior repair attempts.
• Use electronic test and measurement equipment proficiently.
• Understand and use schematics, BOMs, EC documents, visuals, and testing tools.
• Assist Test Engineering with data evaluation to improve diagnosis efficiency.
• Engage with customers for advanced diagnostic issues at sites as needed.
• Recruitment support for diagnostic staffing and training of technicians.
• Perform complex technical assignments requiring judgment and initiative.
