Job summary

Danfoss in Apodaca, Nuevo León is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer to drive manufacturing excellence on site. You will optimize processes to boost productivity, quality, and efficiency while leading root cause analysis with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and sustain improvements.

The role requires strong Lean/Six Sigma experience and the ability to document and control processes, with fluency in English and Spanish, and a focus on sustainable manufacturing in a high‑volume setting.

Qualifications

  • Experience improving manufacturing processes in high‑volume production.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills; familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, A3 or similar methods.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and improve process documentation, standard work, control plans, and process controls.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver operational results.
  • Proficient communication in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, throughput and performance.
  • Lead root cause analysis and problem‑solving to resolve process/equipment issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste, lower costs, improve energy efficiency, and stabilize processes.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Engineering to achieve SQDC goals.
  • Manage capital investment projects to strengthen capabilities and support long‑term growth.

  • Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, throughput, and operational performance.
  • Lead root cause analysis and problem‑solving activities to resolve process and equipment challenges and prevent recurring issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste, lower costs, improve energy efficiency, and enhance overall process stability.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to achieve operational goals and deliver strong SQDC performance.
  • Manage capital investment projects that strengthen manufacturing capabilities and support long‑term business growth.

  • Experience improving manufacturing or machining processes within a high‑volume production environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, including practical use of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, A3, or similar approaches.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and improve process documentation, standard work, control plans, and process controls.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams to deliver operational results.
  • Professional communication skills in both English and Spanish.
